anOther tribute to Dennis Hopper (RIP) - Death of a Giant
Dennis Hopper was not only an unconventional actor (‘Rebel Without a Cause’ 1955 and ‘Giant’ 1956, ‘Apocalypse Now’ 1979…) and an acclaimed film director (‘Easy Rider’ 1969, ‘Colors’ 1988 …).
This “enfant terribles” of Hollywood with an amazing cinematic career was also a real multi-talented artist: Collector, painter, photographer. As a photographer he published several books including the stunning Dennis Hopper: Photographs, 1961-1967. With this post I would like to pay a last tribute to this unconventional talented artist that we will all regret.

A massive stygiomedusa gigantea jellyfish was recently videotaped for the first time swimming around the base of an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico. These three-feet-by-twenty-feet creatures are amazing to look at, but if they don’t eat one hundred thousand barrels of oil a day, none of this is very important, is it?
